Switch Your Vending Machine Provider in Austin, Without the Downtime
Empty shelves for weeks. Service calls that go nowhere. A card reader that still doesn't take tap. If your current vending company has quietly stopped showing up, you are not stuck with them, and switching does not have to leave an empty corner in your breakroom.
Three signs it's time to switch your vending provider
The route schedule slipped.
Restocks were weekly, then every other week, then “we'll get there next time.”
Service requests disappear.
A jammed coil, a dead reader, a refund request, and voicemails and emails with no reply.
The equipment stopped keeping up.
Swipe-only readers, no tap or mobile pay, no way to see what's actually selling.
Before you do anything, read your current agreement
Four clauses decide how fast you can move, and they are rarely on page one:
Notice period. Most vending agreements require written notice, commonly 30, 60 or 90 days. Find the exact number before you promise anyone a date.
Auto-renewal. Many agreements renew on their own unless you give notice inside a specific window. Check whether that window is open now.
Early termination. Look for any fee, and for language that waives it if the operator failed to service the account.
How notice must be delivered. Some contracts demand certified mail, some a specific email address, some both. Sending it the wrong way can restart the clock.
This is a checklist, not legal advice. Your agreement governs, and it is worth having someone read it.
The order that avoids an empty wall
- 1
Walk the space with the new operator: headcount, shift patterns, footprint, the outlet.
- 2
Get the new agreement in writing, including what happens if it doesn't work out.
- 3
Sign with the new operator and lock an install date.
- 4
Only then give notice to your current operator. Give notice first and they have every reason to stop restocking while you wait.
- 5
Coordinate removal and install so the changeover lands in the same week.
Who takes the old machine away?
The equipment belongs to your current operator, so removing it is their responsibility. Send written notice the way the contract requires and keep a copy. If they have gone quiet, document your attempts (dates, calls, emails) and keep sending notice to the address on the agreement. We schedule our delivery around your removal date so your breakroom isn't empty in between.
What replaces it
- AI smart coolers: swipe or tap, grab what you want, auto-checkout in about 60 seconds.
- Inventory monitored remotely, so restocks are planned instead of reactive.
- Free installation, stocking, and service: no purchase, no rental, no contract to buy anything.
- You choose the mix: water only, snacks only, or a combo unit.
- And the placement can pay you. Depending on the location we pay flat monthly rent, a share of gross sales, or the machine goes in free as a 24/7 amenity. We agree on the model before install, and the machine is in place within two business days of signing.

Switching, answered.
Usually yes. Most agreements allow termination with written notice, commonly 30 to 90 days, and some allow immediate termination if the operator has not been servicing the machines. Read your agreement first and follow its notice instructions exactly.
The machines belong to your current operator, so removal is their responsibility. Give written notice as the contract requires and keep a record of it. We plan our install around the removal so you are not left without a machine.
There does not need to be. Sign with the new operator and lock an install date before you give notice, and the changeover can happen within the same week.
Document every attempt to reach them, then send formal written notice to the address on the agreement and keep proof. Once the notice period has run, you are generally free to bring in a new operator.
Our machine, delivery, installation, restocking and service are free. Any early termination fee would come from your existing agreement, which is why it is worth checking that clause first.
Once your space is approved and the agreement is signed, installation happens within two business days, and we work around your removal date.
